Terms and Conditions

These terms apply when you book or attend any class, workshop, course or online content offered by Yoga with Allyson ("we", "us"), in person or online. By booking, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, our Disclaimer and the waiver shown when you book.

1. Bookings and payment

• Classes are booked through our online booking system, OfferingTree.

• Payment is due at the time of booking. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

• Prices are listed in US dollars and include any applicable taxes. [CONFIRM: are taxes included or added at checkout?]

• A booking is confirmed once payment is received and you have agreed to the waiver.

• Walk-ins are welcome if space allows. Payment is taken by [METHOD] before class.

2. Class packs and memberships

• Class packs are valid for [X] [weeks/months] from the date of purchase. Unused classes expire at the end of that period and are not refunded.

• Memberships renew automatically every [month/year] on the purchase date until you cancel. You can cancel at any time by [METHOD, e.g. through your account or by emailing EMAIL]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

• Packs and memberships are personal and cannot be shared or transferred. [CONFIRM: or can they be shared with family members?]

3. Cancelling a booking

• You can cancel a class booking up to [X] hours before the class starts through [your account / by emailing EMAIL].

• If you cancel in time, [your class credit is returned / you receive a full refund / you receive a credit for a future class]. [CONFIRM which.]

• If you cancel late or do not attend, [the class is forfeited / a fee of $X applies]. [CONFIRM.]

4. Arriving late

For safety, please arrive at least [X] minutes before class. If you arrive more than [X] minutes after the start, we may not be able to let you join, and the class will be counted as attended.

5. If we cancel or change a class

• We may need to cancel, reschedule or change the teacher or format of a class, for example due to illness, low numbers, weather or venue issues.

• If we cancel a class, you will receive [a full refund / a class credit] for that class. [CONFIRM.]

• We will let you know as soon as we can by email [or text].

• We are not responsible for any other costs you incur, such as travel or childcare.

6. Refunds

• Apart from the situations above, payments are [non-refundable / refundable within X days if unused]. [CONFIRM.]

• If you cannot continue because of injury or illness, please contact us. We may offer [a credit, pause or partial refund] at our discretion.

• Approved refunds are made to the original payment method within [X] business days.

• Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

7. Online classes and recordings

• Live online classes are held on Zoom or Google Meet. You are responsible for your own internet connection and device. We are not responsible for technical problems on your end.

• Online classes are recorded on speaker view, which shows the teacher. Please keep your microphone muted. If you unmute and speak, your voice and display name, and your video if your camera is on, may be captured in the recording.

• Recordings are available to [people who booked that class / members] for [X days / the length of your membership]. [CONFIRM.]

• Class links and recordings are for your personal use only. Please do not share, download, copy, re-record or post them.

8. Our content

All class content, recordings, videos, handouts, sequences and written materials belong to Yoga With Allyson. You may use them for your own personal practice. You may not copy, sell, share, teach from or publish them without our written permission.

9. Respectful conduct

We want every class to feel safe and welcoming. Please treat the teacher and other students with respect, in person and online. We may remove anyone from a class, or cancel future bookings, if their behaviour is unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate. [CONFIRM: refund or no refund in that case.]

10. Children's classes

• Children's classes must be booked by a parent or legal guardian, who must complete the Parent/Guardian Consent form.

• For online classes, a parent or guardian must set up the session, stay nearby, and make sure their child keeps their microphone muted.

• We do not share photos or videos of children without separate written permission from a parent or guardian.

11. Health, safety and our waiver

Our classes are for general education and wellbeing. They are not medical, psychological or therapeutic treatment. Please read our Disclaimer before booking.

Everyone who attends must agree to our waiver when booking: the Adult Waiver for participants 18 and over, or the Parent/Guardian Consent form for children's classes. 12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to our classes or services is limited to the amount you paid for the class or service the claim relates to. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. This section does not limit liability for anything that cannot be limited by law. 13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with its effective date. Changes do not affect bookings already confirmed before the change, unless the law requires it.
